A turbo inspection is typically the first step in diagnosing and determining what repairs are needed to get your turbo functioning like new again. We do this by disassembling your turbo and measuring the key components while inspecting everything for wear, cracks and issues that will effect the performance and reliability of your turbo. Once this is complete we are then ready to estimate what it will take to get your turbo working the way it should be.
A standard rebuild consists of replacing all bearings, seals, thrusts components, o-rings, balancing and a thorough parts cleaning. Internal hard parts (compressor wheel, turbine shaft/wheel, bearing housing) that need repair or replacement is not included. Buyer will be quoted for this separately after the initial inspection.
After we clean it and thoroughly inspect it we will contact you with an estimate and let you know of any additional parts and service that your turbo may need. If you decide that you would like to move forward with the rebuild then you will be invoiced for that total at the completion of the rebuild prior to shipment or pickup. If you decide not to proceed with any services the inspection fee is not refundable.
Buyer is responsible for shipping turbo to and from JE Import Performance.
