Speedfed USDrift All Star Challenge

What Happened:



JE and crew headed down south for the first annual SpeedFed Nationals at Rockingham Dragway, North Carolina.  It was a perfect weekend for an event, and SpeedFed put together a great venue that drew in many spectators and import enthusiasts. 

Drifting practice started early Saturday and throughout the morning the large field of drifters got accustomed to the course the USDrift officials had created.


After a few rounds of practice the qualifying runs started.  James qualified at the top of the pack and returned to the pits to prepare for the tandem competition.  Advancing through several rounds of tandem battle James had his sights set on a podium finish.  He was able to make it to the final round, but clipping just one cone was enough to keep first place out of reach.  Happily taking home second place the JE crew packed up the race trailer and departed for Maryland.
