A blown motor is never a good thing. When the owner of this black Infinity G35 came to our shop with pieces of his engine block in his hand we knew a rebuild was in order. After building a number of turbo VQ35 3.5 liter motors, we felt it was time to do something a little different. Going over a number of options ranging from forced induction to exotic engine swaps it was decided that we would sleeve, bore, and stroke the original engine to get the maximum displacement possible, and keep it naturally aspirated.

After assembling the motor the engine bay was prepared for it's new stroker transplant. In anticipation of much higher than stock power levels we then installed a Stage IV Competition Clutch and lightweight flywheel before bolting the engine back in it's place. |

With the freshly rebuilt stroker motor assembled, it was then installed into the G35. The Infinity was set up on our in house Dynapack hub dyno for base tuning using GReddy E-Manage Ultimate. The car was returned to the owner so he could put some miles on the motor to break it in. |
